Our History
Leisure Rooms has come a long way over the past decade. Originally founded as 'Log Cabin Builders" , a company specialising in the construction of traditional log cabins across Scotland and Dartmoor, we built our reputation on quality craftsmanship and a deep respect for natural materials.
Our EXPERIENCE
As the market evolved and client needs changed, we adapted — installing rustic log cabins and working closely with natural timber taught us the true meaning of craftsmanship — understanding structure, insulation, and the small details that make a build last. Those early years shaped who we are today and laid the foundations for the quality we bring to every garden room we create.

Over the years, we have continued to refine our approach and began to build and design our own buildings, gaining invaluable experience in every aspect design, engineering, and installation.
Our Evolution
We carefully adapted each project to suit its setting, using locally sourced materials from trusted suppliers to blend naturally with the landscapes of counties like Sussex, Surrey, and Kent.
While the exteriors celebrated the timeless appeal of traditional log construction, we introduced modern interiors, featuring open-plan layouts, contemporary finishes, and energy-efficient systems.

Garden Rooms
Our first garden rooms were simple yet beautifully crafted, featuring traditional timber cladding that gave them a warm, natural aesthetic.

As our expertise grew and the needs of our clients evolved, 'Log Cabin Builders became 'Leisure Rooms' and we followed the market , designing and creating premium garden rooms.
We recognised the increasing demand for versatile, high-quality outdoor spaces that could be used all year round — whether for work, leisure, fitness, or relaxation. Drawing on our background in craftsmanship, material sourcing, and modern interior design, we adapted our approach to develop luxury, fully insulated garden rooms, built with the same care and precision as our earlier homes.
